Low tension motors
LT motors are low tension motors. Depending upon the voltage supply,
motors are classified as LT and HT motors. The LT engine architecture
has its roots in the LS family that established unprecedented performance benchmarks and reinvigorated hot rodding.
While there is a lineage from LS to LT, the two branches of the small-block
tree are significantly varied.
LT motors called low tension motor and HT motor called high tension motor.
As per Indian practice motor are classied as follows LT Motor – Motors
which work on 230 V, 415 V and 690 V.
HT Motor – Motors which work on 3.3 KV, 6.6 KV and 11 KV.
